Anushka Shetty is an Indian film actress and model who mainly works in Telugu and Tamil films. Her real name is Sweety Shetty. She made her acting debut with Super Telugu film in the year 2005. She made her Tamil Debut with Rendu in the year 2007. She is now one of the leading & commercial successful film actress of India.

Anushkaka Shetty was born on 7th November, 1981in Puttur, Mangalore, Karnataka, India. Her father name is A.N. Vittal Shetty and mother Prafulla Shetty. She has two brothers Gunaranjan Shetty and Sai Ramesh Shetty who is a cosmetic surgeon.

Anushka Shetty did her schooling in Bangalore and she completed her Bachelor of Computer Applications at the Mount Carmel College, Bengaluru. She was also a yoga instructor, trained under Bharat Thakur. She has received many awards such as three CineMAA Awards, Nandi Award, TN State Film Awards and three Filmfare Awards from eight nominations.
