Vijay Sai Deverakonda known as Vijay Deverakonda is an Indian film actor who mainly works in Telugu cinema. He made his on-screen debut with the Telugu film Nuvvila in the year 2011. He made his Tamil debut with the film Mahanati in the year 2017.

Vijay Deverakonda was born on 9 May, 1989 in Achampet, Telangana, India. His father Deverakonda Govardhan Rao is a renowned actor and a TV serial and ad-film director and her mother named Deverakonda Madhavi. He has a brother named, Anand Deverakonda, who works with Deloitte in USA.

Vijay Deverakonda did his schooling from Eton Temple High School in Saroornagar, Hyderabad before moving to Sri Sathya Sai Higher Secondary School in Puttaparthi. He continued his studies from Little Flower Junior College. He completed his graduation from Badruka College of Commerce. His film Pelli Choopulu won the National Film Award for Best Feature Film in Telugu and the Filmfare Award for Best Film Telugu. He won the Filmfare Award for Best Actor Telugu for the film Arjun Reddy.
